DON'T BE A PROBLEM
Treat players and staff with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, targeted abuse, or excessive toxicity are prohibited. Repeated disruptive behavior may result in administrative action.
DAWN OF LIES // SERVER POLICY
RULES OF
ENGAGEMENT.
The rules are simple. Play the game. Respect the community. Don't be a problem.
Playing on Dawn of Lies servers means you are expected to follow these rules. Staff may take administrative action when necessary to protect gameplay and the community.

NO CHEATING OR EXPLOITING
No cheating, scripting, exploiting, glitch abuse, or unauthorized software. Report bugs instead of abusing them. Attempting to bypass or circumvent administrative actions is prohibited.

NO GRIEFING
Do not intentionally disrupt gameplay or interfere with other players' ability to play. Deliberate asset destruction, mission sabotage, blocking objectives, or intentionally ruining the experience for others is prohibited.

NO TEAMKILLING
Intentional teamkilling is prohibited. This includes retaliation, revenge kills, payback, joking around, or intentionally killing teammates for any other reason. If another player teamkills you, report it to staff. Do not retaliate. Retaliatory teamkilling is still teamkilling and may result in both players receiving administrative action.

HELICOPTER RULES
Helicopters are whitelisted assets. Only approved DOL Pilots may operate helicopters. Do not steal, sabotage, move, or intentionally interfere with aircraft or aviation operations.

NO SHOOTING AT FRIENDLY AIRCRAFT
Do not intentionally fire upon, damage, or endanger friendly helicopters or aircraft. This includes firearms, explosives, grenades, rockets, vehicle weapons, or any other means. Intentional violations may result in immediate administrative action.

RESPECT STAFF
Follow reasonable staff instructions. Do not harass, insult, obstruct, or intentionally interfere with staff performing administrative duties. If you disagree with an administrative action, use the proper appeal process rather than arguing or disrupting the server.

NO FALSE REPORTS
Do not knowingly submit false reports, fabricated evidence, or deliberately misleading information. Report issues honestly and accurately.

ALTERNATE ACCOUNTS
Alternate accounts may not be used to evade bans, suspensions, restrictions, blacklists, or other administrative actions. Punishments apply to the player, not just the account. Accounts determined to belong to a player evading punishment may receive the same restriction.

COMMUNITY CONDUCT
No advertising or recruiting for outside communities without permission. Do not intentionally create drama, division, or disruption within DOL.

NO STAFF IMPERSONATION
Do not impersonate DOL staff, falsely claim administrative authority, or intentionally misrepresent yourself as acting on behalf of DOL staff.
FINAL RULE
NO BS POLICY.
DOL operates on a simple principle: No BS.
Not every possible form of disruptive behavior can be specifically listed in the rules. If you're deliberately causing problems, disrupting gameplay, exploiting technicalities, or making the community worse for everyone else, staff may intervene.
USE COMMON SENSE. DON'T BE THE REASON WE NEED ANOTHER RULE.
